Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am a Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Nurse. Can I start a clinic?
As a licensed healthcare professional, you can likely own a clinic, but you will need to consult with an attorney to be certain. However if you are not a provider, you will need a provider to complete the patient's H&P and order the indicated treatment plan. Providers are MDs, DOs, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and Physician Assistants (PAs). The provider required will vary from state to state. Some states allow NPs and CRNAs to practice independently (without physician involvement), while others require NPs or CRNAs to collaborate with or be supervised by a physician. You will need to check your state’s Nurse Practice Act to determine the level of physician involvement that is required. If the Nurse Practice Act is vague or unclear, we recommend consulting with a healthcare attorney familiar with your state’s scope of practice regulations.
  • How long do I have course access?
You will receive lifetime access to the course, and 1 year of access to the group coaching calls and Q&A program. You will need to complete the course within your first year of enrollment in order to be eligible for the CE credits.
  • Is the course online?
Yes! Our courses allows for easy online access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The course is asynchronous so you can move through the content on your terms.
  • Can I ask the instructors questions?
Absolutely! We are committed to helping our students succeed however we can. This course includes 12 months of access to group coaching and open office hour sessions with our course instructors. We conduct these sessions monthly, LIVE via Zoom. You can also ask questions by posting in our students' group or by joining our coaching and open office hour calls. We also provide a direct link to ask questions and the instructors will send a recorded personalized video response within 3 to 5 business days.
  • Does the course include the protocols?
Yes, the program includes all the evidence-based protocols we use in our ketamine clinic.
  • Do I have to log into the course at a specific time?
No. Our courses are asynchronous, meaning that you can work your way through the content whenever it is convenient for you.
  • Do I receive a certificate of completion at the end of this course?
Yes, you will be emailed a certificate of completion once you finish the course.
  • Will I receive CE / CEU credit for completing the course?
Our Ketamine Business Accelerator Program is CE approved by the AANA for 50 CE credit hours, which includes 16 hours of pharmacology. The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Therefore our CEs meet ANCC criteria and are valid and applicable to nursing license holders. Other license holders will need to check with their licensing or certification boards and inquire if they will accept nursing CE/CEUs for credit.
  • How many times can I rewatch the course?
You'll have lifetime access to all course materials, allowing you to revisit content whenever you need. To get the CEs, however, you must complete the program within your first year of enrollment.
  • Can I print the course materials?
Some of the course material will be available for download and/or printing. Materials can be viewed as many times as you would like from within our student account, as long as your access hasn't expired.
  • Does this course include template forms?
Yes. This course includes all the forms and templates you will need in your clinic, including consent, contractor contracts, operating/partnership agreement, and much more. These are intended to be used as templates and should be adjusted specifically for your practice.
  • Does this course teach me where to purchase ketamine?
Yes. This course includes a list of ketamine vendors. We tell you the vendors we order from, and the ones you may want to avoid. We never accept any referral or affiliate commissions, so you can be confident that all of our recommendations are completely unbiased.
  • Does this course tell me how to meet the regulations in my state?
Unfortunately, we are not attorneys and will not be able to provide legal advice for state specific regulations. Our course points you in the right direction by showing you the departments and agencies that typically regulate practices in most states. By checking with these agencies, you will be able to learn what the regulations are in your state. The course describes how to find the Nurse Practice Act (NPA) in your state. If you are a nurse, nurse practitioner or CRNA (or if you plan to hire one), the NPA will describe the scope of practice for your license type and it will outline the level of physician (MD or DO) involvement that is required for your state. For other state specific legal/regulatory advice, we recommend consulting with an experienced healthcare attorney who is licensed in your state.
  • Do you have a Facebook group?
Yes we have two Facebook Groups. One that is exclusively for paid clients and you can access it after you enroll in any Ketamine Academy program, and one open group that you can join now. Click HERE to join the open Ketamine Clinic Startup group.
  • Do you have a group or multi-seat tuition discount?

One person from the group must enroll at the normal tuition and each extra seat (for partners or employees) can be purchased at a great discount. • Who can enroll in the Ketamine Academy program?
You are not required to be a licensed medical professional to take the Ketamine Academy program. We have students that are providers such as MDs, DOs, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) taking the program. We also have Registered Nurses, LPNs, Paramedics, EMTs, Psychologists, Mental Health Counselors, Therapists and many other professionals enrolled in our training program.
  • Do you have lists of recommended medical supplies and equipment?
Yes, we do. In the program, you will find spreadsheets for ketamine practice medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and even office supplies. We will also teach you what medical equipment you will be needing and even where to find the best deals.
