3 Reasons Entrepreneurs Should Consider the Opportunities in Healthcare

Influence of Entrepreneurship in Healthcare: How easily YOU could become a part of this!

Let’s face it: healthcare is not what it used to be.

I think that is one thing we can all agree on. No one is treating healthcare the same exact way they were ten years ago. Maybe you are experiencing changes in your small town office. Maybe you are seeing new trends in how your chronic illness is being managed, or maybe you are just overwhelmed by the rising cost of healthcare and the politics behind it all. Healthcare is changing daily.

The exciting part of this is: you get to be a part of it.

Behind all of these changes are innovators and entrepreneurs that are focused on how to use the influence of entrepreneurship in healthcare to their advantage. Entrepreneurs are looking at the business of healthcare and what new ideas could be brought to the table. The good news is, since this is an ever changing part of the world that is not going away, you get endless of opportunities to get involved.

Here are three major reasons that you could easily become a part of the influence of entrepreneurship in healthcare:

Reason #1 to get into the business of healthcare: Healthcare is needed

Healthcare is not a fad that is going away. It is one of the very few industries that we are certain will grow instead of decline. Healthcare is not another social media app that can change at a moment’s notice. Business in healthcare means that you would be part of a entrepreneurship that would only grow each year as much as technology goes.

Think of what technology was like a decade ago. It seems like the ability of technology to increase multiplies each year. Think of what healthcare will look like ten years from now. The opportunities are endless.

Reason #2 to get into the business of healthcare: Healthcare is getting more business oriented

Before, you would go to your hometown doctor for all of you and your family’s medical needs and problems. You didn’t have to think too much about the business aspect of it- you simply paid your doctor to address your healthcare needs. You would even call them if you didn’t need a visit but just needed some medical advice.

Now, with rising healthcare costs and politics in the healthcare industry, patients are no longer simply using the one route of going to their hometown doctor to solve all of their needs. If they are, they’re worrying about deductibles and coinsurance, and how to pay for it all. Doctors are worried about meeting enough patients for the day so they can maintain their business. Healthcare is becoming more business-focused in our society. Even Amazon and CVS are getting into the business part of healthcare, which is going to have drastic changes within the next decade as we find out more about their plans.

A lot of patients see this as a bad thing, but it has so much potential for entrepreneurs that want to come in and explore all the opportunities has to offer. Eventually, all of these influences from entrepreneurs can actually benefit patients, and possibly even save lives. You can become a pioneer in healthcare as it keeps becoming more business-centric because you can find a way to make patients happy that no one has thought of before.

Reason #3 to get into the business of healthcare: Technology is changing healthcare

When the internet came into people’s homes in the 1990's, a lot of people in the world all of a sudden had access to take power over their own health care that they never had before. Now, a patient didn’t have to call the doctor for every little thing- they could just type in their symptoms on a search engine and see what would come up. Doctors went from having to explain to people why they have a certain disease to a lot of times now having to explain to people that they don’t have a disease. This is because so many of us look up our symptoms and try to diagnose ourselves before we even go into the office.

Entrepreneurs are making the smart decision to bank on the fact of how much technology is already changing healthcare. Things are being invented all of the time, but even if you are not an inventor there are still ways to get involved in the business of healthcare.

Many entrepreneurs are now also planning ahead for how much is going to change within the next decade. We are becoming more of a society that wants to do everything on our smart devices. This leaves entrepreneurs with the option to either try to get people back into the doctor's office, or the opportunity to find ways to meet people where they are. Entrepreneurs now have the ability to use technology to convince patients they need to be seen in an office, and/or they can bring the office to the patient.

Entrepreneurs can also use technology for teaching others in the healthcare industry revolutionary ways to assist their patients. Patients are not just looking for the “mom and pop” doctor office. Because technology is at their tips, more people are now looking for alternative medicines and alternative ways to solve healthcare issues. Creating industries in that is just one of the many doors for entrepreneurship. Healthcare consulting is also becoming huge to help those already in the healthcare industry.

I want to know more. How do I get started in the entrepreneurship of healthcare?

I jumped into the healthcare industry with my two academies: the IV Therapy Academy and the The Ketamine Infusion Therapy Course. Offering courses such as these can give you so much room as an entrepreneur to grow and make money in your sleep. I am now working on helping others become entrepreneurs in the business of healthcare.

I have also created a group where healthcare entrepreneurs, as well as those who are interested in starting healthcare entrepreneurship, can get together to network and bounce ideas. Make sure to join today even if you are remotely interested in this field for more information: Healthcare Entrepreneur Business Lounge!
